FAQ's
Question: What is a notary public?
Answer: The most common function of the notary is to prevent fraud by attesting to the identity of the person signing a document. This also certifies that the person whose signature that is subscribed on the document personally appeared before the notary, established his or her capacity or identity and personally signed the document in the presence of the notary public.

Answer: $10.00
Question: What is a Notary Certificate of Acknowledgment?
Answer:
A declaration by an individual in the presence of a notary public that he or she has signed a record for the purposes stated in the record and, if the record is signed in a representative capacity, that he or she signed the record with the proper authority. This is the page that is being notarized and is normally attached to the document to be signed by the Notary Public with his/her commission stamp and seal.
Question: What is a Jurat?
Answer: a certification by a notary public that a signer, whose identity is personally known to the notary public or proven on the basis of satisfactory evidence, has made in the presence of the notary public a voluntary signature and taken an oath of affirmation (administered by the notary) vouching for the truthfulness of the signed record. This page is normally attached to the document.
Question: What is an All-Purpose Acknowledgment?
Answer:
Provided by the notary public to the signer on proves on the basis of satisfactory evidence to be the person(s) whose name(s) is/are subscribed to any documents that are affixed to
the all-purpose acknowledgment page.
Question: Does the signer need identification?
Answer: Yes and if the document requires witnesses, then they will also need identification.
Question: Can documents be emailed to Us and printed?
Answer: Yes, there is a separate printing fee for this service.

Signers with physical limitations
A notary public may sign the name of a person whose physical characteristics limit his or her capacity to sign or make a mark on a record; if the signer, is in the presence of the notary public and directs the notary public orally, verbally or physically to sign the the person's name. NOTARIZATION......................$10 per notarial act

Please Note: Any page needing notarized is a notarial act.
Example 1. to notarize a single page, it will cost $10 to have that document notarized.
Example 2. If the document has two pages that need to be notarized, the cost will be $20 to notarize both pages.
Notarization includes verifying identity, witnessing of signatures, notary stamp and embossed seal.
EXPEDIENCY SERVICES:
Local (35 mile) travel expediency - $50 + notary fee
Outside local area (mileage over 35 miles) - $2 per mile
Register of Deeds Recordings - flat fee $100
County jail or prison visits - flat fee $100
Hospital visits - $65 + notary fee
Seniors / Elders
Convalescent / Senior home visits - $45 + $5 notary fee
Emergency notary services after hours - TBD
Printing originals or copies - $1 per page
Additional costs for traveling, mailings, copies or recordings are separate from notary fees.
If nothing can be notarized, client is responsible for the charged travel fees. Rescheduling will be at the discretion of the notary.
